Our Mission & Values
To improve quality of life by making evidence-based pain education, non-opioid resources, and practical self-management tools easier to understand and access for people with pain, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
Reliable Information
We make pain education easier to understand through credible sources and clear explanations. References help readers explore the evidence behind the information we share.
Informed Choices
We help people living with pain ask questions, understand their options, and discuss their goals with their healthcare team. We encourage shared decisions that respect each person’s needs, preferences, and experiences.
Practical Resources
Our guides, checklists, and tracking tools help people living with pain, caregivers, nursing students, and healthcare professionals prepare for appointments, support learning, and have meaningful conversations about care.
Educational Focus
LPRI provides general education about pain and pain management. Our resources support understanding and do not replace personalized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.
Why Lean Pain Relief Initiative Exists
Pain information is often scattered, overly technical, or centered on a single treatment. Lean Pain Relief Initiative was created to make reliable pain education easier to understand and use.
The initiative brings together evidence-informed explanations, practical tools, and non-opioid and multimodal resources so people can participate more confidently in decisions about their care. It also supports caregivers and healthcare professionals who need clear, responsible educational materials.
Lean Pain Relief Initiative is an independently operated educational platform. It is not a medical clinic or healthcare provider and does not provide appointments, diagnosis, treatment, or prescriptions.
